Big Data and the Industry
Description
"Big Data" is becoming more prevalent online and in the news. This one-hour course will examine what "Big Data" is and work through some concepts, trends, and examples of big data. We will also look at how data is being collected, by who, how this relates to the financial services industry, and specifically how insurances companies can and do use Big Data.
