Harold Elman, MBA, CFP, CLU, CHFC, brings over 30 years of broad experience in the Financial Services Industry. He has an extensive background in Management, and in Group Insurance and Pensions with a large Canadian insurer. He has been actively involved in the training of Financial Services professionals in the areas of Estate Planning and the application of industry products. He is recognized and highly respected in the industry for his knowledge and presentation skills.
During the course of his career, he has been located in Europe, the Caribbean and the United States, from where he operated internationally.
His educational qualifications include the CFP, CLU and CHFC, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Western Ontario. He has continued his interest in education as an Instructor in the CFP® designation programs at BusinessCareerCollege, University of Calgary and Mount RoyalCollege.
Mr. Elman is active in the Financial Services Industry, and served as President of the Calgary Chapter of Advocis, the industry association. He also finds the time to volunteer for the Calgary Stampede and the Board of a Calgary addiction centre.
