Barry entered the insurance industry in 1979 with a major Canadian life insurance company. Barry has been actively involved in insurance industry organizations and initiatives and served in numerous executive and leadership capacities at both the local and national levels. Barry has spent most of his career in personal production. Barry has worked with Business Career College to help establish its current presence in Winnipeg.  Barry is currently involved with the Manitoba Insurance Act Rewrite Committee.
