Standard Admission
Students must meet ONE of the following criteria:

1. Alberta high school diploma verified by a transcript with 50% or better in Grade 12 English and Mathematics 10 or any Grade 11 Mathematics, or non-Alberta equivalent.

OR

2. Successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.).

Mature Admission
Students must meet ALL of the following criteria:

1. Out of school for two years.

2. Successful result on an aptitude test chosen by the school and approved by the Director, Private Institutions Branch (Alberta Learning).

3.Thirty-three credits toward an Alberta High School Diploma, verified by a transcript, with 50% or better in Grade 10 English and Grade 10 Mathematics, or non-Alberta equivalent.

4. In addition to the above requirements, all applicants must successfully pass an interview with school administration.

Step Two – Visit the College
The Business Career College is located on Wapiti Road, south of Canfor at 8611 – 108th Street. Our facility includes four state-of-the- art computer labs.

Step Three – Gather Information
Your counselor will help you gather information by:

1.) Providing program information, answering questions and offering a tour of the facility.

2.) Informing applicants about flexible financing options and assisting with budget planning when necessary.

3.) Providing applicants with information about graduates with whom they may wish to talk about their experience at the Business Career College.

4.) Presenting up-to-date statistics that reflect the success rates of graduates in finding training related employment within 3 months of graduating.
